My Weekend...

I didnt do much.... My neice came thru, she's 2 1/2, so I babysat. She's too funny. A lil mini me. hahaha And watched the Olympics!!! TRULY the most entertaining Olympics Ive seen. Congrats to the men's basketball team for takin' home the GOLD!!!! AND much congrats to Shawn Johnson and Usain Bolt. Ok.... til' next time. I'm watching a scary movie =)

1ST BLOG!

Yup, this is my 1st one. I usually write in a journal or a diary but technology has stepped it's game up once again. Gotta love it ;) I'm home about to go to bed. I have a funeral to go to for my cousin, De'Angelo tomorrow morning. So young and gone too soon. 1 1/2 and passed away from MYOCARDITIS. I had never heard about it until today when my cousin relayed the message to me from the medical examiner. Scott and his girl, Gloria are holding it together as best as they can... but I can't imagine his pain, losing a son. My uncle Rodney, lost Rasheed, my 2nd dad, Michael, lost his son Nick, and now my cousin Scott, lost De'Angelo.

To wake up, live, feel, and experience another day on earth is TRULY a blessing. I always say "Today is a great day because I'm alive. It could be worse."

Thank U God for today and all the other days you enable me to live.
